The Orixforce Retractable Aluminum Pergola is a powder-coated aluminum frame with a wood-look finish, a sliding canopy, and a secondary cover that protects the fabric when it is retracted. Among retractable canopy pergolas, it is notable for listing its column spacing and including anchors for both soft and hard ground. The main question is whether to buy a model with no owner reviews and no stated UV protection.
Our Verdict
We see the Orixforce Retractable Aluminum Pergola as a light, straightforward design with a useful set of included hardware. Its strongest points are the eight ground stakes and eight expansion bolts in the box, plus clear dimensions for the space between the columns.
The trade-off is evidence and sun protection. There were no owner ratings when we reviewed it, and the specifications state no UV protection for the canopy. Consider it for a mild, partly shaded yard once you confirm the fabric details.

Design and Build Quality
Orixforce describes a powder-coated aluminum frame with a wood-look finish, although the specifications list alloy steel among the materials. Ask the seller to confirm which parts are aluminum if rust resistance is a priority.
At about 67 pounds with 3.25 inch columns, the frame is light for its footprint. That makes assembly easier but places more importance on secure anchoring.
Roof and Weather Protection
The sliding polyester canopy is listed as water resistant, so it should shed light rain. A secondary fabric cover protects the canopy when it is retracted, which can help it last longer in sun and weather.
The specifications state no UV protection. For a shade structure, that is a notable gap, so ask Orixforce whether the fabric carries any UPF rating before relying on it for sun protection.
Stability and Anchoring
Orixforce includes eight ground stakes for soft surfaces and eight expansion bolts for hard surfaces, so you can install it on a lawn or a concrete patio without buying extra hardware.
There is no wind or snow rating. With a light frame, anchor every column as instructed and retract the canopy when strong wind is forecast.
Space and Everyday Use
The overall size is 117 by 156.25 inches, roughly 10 by 13 feet, and the columns sit 97.75 by 137 inches apart. Plan furniture around that inner spacing rather than the overall figures.
The cream white finish and wood-look frame give a soft, garden-friendly appearance. The listed height of about 88 inches is moderate, so check clearance for tall users.
Assembly and Installation
Assembly is required, and an instruction manual is included. The listing does not give an assembly time or crew size, so plan on two people.
Choose stakes or bolts based on your surface before you start, and keep the unused set as spares.
