Alvantor and VEVOR make the two most reviewed pop-up screen houses in our catalog. Both use fiberglass hub frames that open in minutes and keep bugs out with mesh walls. They differ in weight, size range, and how much weather protection comes in the box. This Alvantor vs VEVOR screen house comparison helps you pick.

Weight and portability
Alvantor wins clearly. The Alvantor 10×10 screen house is sold as “only 15 lbs,” about a third of the weight of similar shelters, with automatically opening fiberglass ribs. The VEVOR 10×10 six-sided screen tent weighs about 31 lbs, and its 15×15 version about 38 lbs. If you carry the tent from a parking lot to a campsite or beach, the difference is noticeable.
Rain and wind
VEVOR gives you more protection. Its tents put a 300D Oxford canopy over the mesh roof and add roll-up wind panels on each side, which double as privacy screens; one 10×10 has six panels and the VEVOR 15×15 eight-sided tent has eight. Alvantor’s screen house is built for sun and bugs only, and Alvantor states the fabric top is “not waterproof & not rainproof.” For a more weatherproof option, the Alvantor 12×12 pop-up gazebo uses 210D Oxford fabric on an aluminum frame, with PVC, mesh, or polyester curtains sold separately. Either brand’s screen house should come down in strong wind.
Space
VEVOR covers more sizes, up to the 15×15 that it says “comfortably fits 10 seated with furniture,” plus a 13×13 geodesic model that seats 6. Alvantor’s 10×10 is aimed at 4 to 6 adults. If you need a screened dining area for a large group, VEVOR is the practical choice. If you are also considering a permanent structure, see Best Screened Gazebos.

How we put this comparison together
We grouped each brand’s listings in our product catalog by model, so size and color variants that share one review pool count once, then compared frame and roof materials, what is included, manufacturer wind and snow figures, stated warranties, and owner ratings. Ratings and stock were rechecked on October 23, 2026 and will change. Wind, snow, and warranty figures are manufacturer claims, not our own measurements. Our evaluations are based on manufacturer specifications and aggregated owner feedback.
